That deer had to be hurt before ..like caught up in a fence or sick.. No yotes just gang up on a health buck like that.....

watch two coyotes pull down a buck in south texas along a fence line. Buck was not hurt. yotes finally worked him into a corner and that was end of story.

My brother had the exact same thing happen in S.C. about four years ago. Killed a smallish doe and then walked back about a half mile to his truck, unloaded the four wheeler and rode back into the swamp to get his deer. When he got to his stand and where the deer had been laying the deer was no longer there. He said "***" and then saw some churned up leaves heading out in one direction. Found his deer about 40 yards away almost completely covered up with leaves. There aren't supposed to be any bears in his area of S.C but there are lots of coyotes and bob cats and maybe even some cougars/panthers as lots of folks claim to see them but just like in Louisiana (till last year) nobody had any pics of them. He still does not know what type of animal did it.
