So y'all do know only 11.8 of the American workforce is Union right. Well that may go up after Wall-mart employees get done.

I was a craftsman for 14 like I said earlier. Structural Fitter, same duties as an Iron Worker. I never once saw any benefit to being In a Union. As a matter of fact I worked with A quite few Craftsmen who left jobs in plants to come work at our non union facility.

Now I'm a Steel Detailer/Draftsman, I personally don't think I would have been afforded that opportunity if I was a union member.

here is what I do know.....this was a tactic to get rid of the union.....yes the management of the company made some awkward decisions...they're company.....they're decisions......then when all hell broke loose, they see where the unions are holding them hostage......so they bankrupt the company and sell what's left and make millions (likely) and not have to deal with some group of people that is not burdened with the facts of business......

Same damn thing should have happened with GM........we should have booted the unions......and gave the company a fighting chance to REMAIN solid......GM will be in the tanker again in our lifetime......chisel it on your driveway.......I said it, and believe it.

you will see more of this.....bankrupt and stock for stock trades, mergers and any strategy out there to free yourself from a union.
