I last reset it 4500 miles ago, I hit it after my oil changes. I don't drive light, tried it once though

I drive to Larose and Gulfport a lot for work. Search my posts and you'll see it used to be 14.2, but I installed new 33'' A/T II's and my mileage has come up.

I got 26mpg in my ecoboost from verot to north gate mall lol

Interstate I've been getting 16-19mpg depending on speed. With my 16' aluminum boat at 70, I'll get 13.5-15mpg depending on wind. With my 19' nautic star... I don't even want to talk about it... 10mpg@70, if I drop down to 62 though it bumps up pretty good.

finally! someone giving honest numbers on the ecoboost. people REALLY like to talk them things up for some reason... not saying these numbers are bad, but they seem honest. this is about the same as i get in my '14 sr5 crewmax tundra... except i would do a little better pulling the 19ft

Yep. The v8 helps with the mileage when pulling I think. I had a 5.3 z71 before this truck and it got a little better pulling, but this ecoboost pulls WAY better. Doesn't seen to strain at all, on most overpasses it won't even drop a gear and getting onto the interstate is much easier with this truck. My Chevy had a hard time pulling even if I had a 5mph wind even with my little boat.

Btw straight interstate @ 70 and no wind you can keep your mileage right around 20mpg with this truck, but who really does that. That was at 70 from Opelousas to I10

I'm able to get 22 with my 5.7L running about 74.

Yeah I wish I could say it was better. Btw it's an FX4 with 3.5.5 gears and 20" rims for those who want to compare.

Just got out of my 2nd Z71 and bought the 5.0 Ford this past December. The ride is awesome and more quiet inside cab. So many more options in the base packages than GM. Cab is way bigger, love the tailgate step, 36 gal gas tank, and back up camera available on the XLT models. Pulls every bit of as good as the 5.3 IMO with similar mpg. MPG on interstate is 17/18 going 75, in town 14. Someone mentioned 20 MPG on the highway. Is that with a chip or is that going 55? Love it so far just hope it last.

The 20mpgs I posted was with the ecoboost at 70mph. I cleared it once I got to cruising speed in Opelousas and took the picture at the first stop light in lafa on the thruway.

Man this thread has got me thinking there is something seriously wrong with my Silverado. Y'all are spouting out some amzing MPGs compared to what I get. I filled up a couple days ago and I had averaged 11.3. That's driving 10 miles round trip to work where I only have 3 stop lights/signs. Hook something to it, and you can pretty much throw double digits out of the window.

The gas mileage doesn't bother me. I have a truck and it drinks gas and I knew that before I bought it. I'm talking about how this thing searches for gears and acts like a pissed off weedeater when I hook up to the boat
