Twas the morning before christmas, and all through the blind...
Not a goose was flying, that I could find....

Was hoping for an early christmas present from mother nature but didnt happen. Saw nothing but empty skys today. So another scratch. I'm not even sure if my gun still fires or not. Bout tired of it. NO Birds

They scratched in my blind for the first time this year. We have no new birds in the area. I think I'm gonna take a break till we get some frost on the ground.

Know how you feel, been slow for us as well. Still seeing a few but they want the open water. Last 3 days we killed a total of 8 ducks, been quality though, mallards, pintail, greys and teal.

peeeyay I just got back from the hunt eith DGG. talk about tired. we didnt leave the blinduntil 1130. left with 8 greys and 1 spoon

you still tired from yesterday? I know i am! Sorry i kept you out so late them spurts of birds kept making me think they was gonna do it. Wrong!! The weather was friknin stupid yesterday in gc, and i think that's what shut them down like they did, cause even though we saw alot of birds that's not even close to what is there. They just didn't move good yesterday. It went from drizzle, to dense fog, to back to drizzle with clouds, then once the fog lifted it went to the sun making an apperance. Then back to drizzle with no wind. It just plain out sucked yesterday.

dude i had fun. just a long day. i actually got to take a hour nap sooo it worked out really well. having duck gumbo tonight!!!!!!!!!
