Default 10-6-10 big lake

Another awesome day on big lake. Caught a limit of shrimps behind the weirs then went on the outside of Lambert's and caught some reds and one spec. When we decided to head home we pulled out of the weirs and there were the birds working, so we picked up a few more specs. Hope this vacation never ends. LOL

I went to catch some shrimp this afternoon. It was much slower today than last week and there were a lot fewer of the "jumbo's"....[~ 10 to 15 count].

Today there was about 2/3 nice size and 1/3 were 40+ count.

I ended up with about 2/3 of a bucket and that is after cast netting for 3+ hours with a 5' net.

Some boats were catching their limits using larger cast nets and bait.

There is a limit on wildlife refuges and there is a limit when the inshore shrimp season is closed.

I went back again today about 12 noon it took me 3 hours to catch my limit but the shrimp were real good size. I throw a 6 foot net and was baiting also.
