Default V.B. 5-15
It was a beautiul day to be out on the water today. Me and my son kyle headed off shore this morning in search of some troutses.Havent been on the water since november,so it was time. We were greeted with calm seas,and pretty much stayed like that all day. Never could find em stacked up anywhere,and a finicky bite,but we kept jumping around picking up a few here and there. Caught everything on plastics,with quite a few coming off of the skull draggerz custom baits.Water was good out of the pass,temp.around 80 degrees.The fish was a bonus today,cuz just being on the water with my son was good enough for me today.

Helluva way to get back on the water! Sounds like a good trip man, glad to hear the bite is starting to turn on! You said u ran offshore, did you fish Tiger Shoals, SMI, or EI? How far did you have to go out before the water looked good?

fished tiger shoals and smi. water started looking good not too far outside the pass.

Nice Catch Jody... I went out this afternoon from about 530-dark in the Vermilion blocks found pretty water but no fish. got cut off once by a spanish mack but that was near dark. Went SW out of Freshwater Bayou then worked east a little
