Default Big loss to LA

Just found out that one of the best waterfowl photographers of all times has passed away. Mr. Charlie Hohorst is no longer with us. Prayers to you sir and thanks for all those great images that will live on.

Thanks for those kind words. Just left his funeral. Always enjoyed his interpretations through his camera of our fabulous outdoors. Charlie helped instill the passion that i have for hunting and fishing at a very young age. Charlie is my 1st cousin 11 years older than me. A very talented shooter with a 20g shotgun....and later a camera.

Prayers to you and the rest of the family Reefman! His work is simply amazing! I have been neglecting swinging by a shop to pick up a few prints for my new office close to me, but I will be there tomorrow in his honor.

Small world........I've hunted a time or two with Charlie as well.
I worked for his lease partner and good friend Danny Womack.....also a talented photographer ........
Charlie and Danny taught me that the outdoors where indeed God's art.
He will be missed for sure

Charlie was a great photographer and outdoorsman plus he was a dear friend for over 40 yrs. I will miss getting his daily image of the great outdoors that He would email out every morning. Prayers out to his family.
