Arrow Baja Pirates of La Paz - Red Tuna Shirt Club's December Shirt!

Red Tuna Shirt Club is proud to announce our December shirt - Baja Pirates of La Paz from Baja Mexico!

This one-of-a-kind shirt has been sent to all Red Tuna members - let us know how you like it. If you haven't joined yet, do so this week and we will send you this authentic Baja Pirates shirt right away as your first shirt (while supplies last!). Just visit redtunashirtclub.com.

Baja Pirates of La Paz is a new type of charter company for Mexico – an opportunity to experience world-class service in the middle of a phenomenal fishery that inspired Jacques Cousteau to call the area around La Paz “the aquarium of the world”.

Baja Pirates has its roots in Alaska, where the ownership was located for several years before they moved south to the warmer climate of Baja Mexico more than a decade ago. They brought along them some of the customer-service oriented practices that are common in Alaska but previously unheard of in Baja. From iced fish holds to top-notch equipment to fish packing services, no detail is overlooked.

The staff includes the most experienced captains in all of Baja and offers the only owner/operate fleet of all American-style cruisers and center consoles. The equipment is second to none, with Avet reels, Ugly Stick rods, and top end terminal tackle.

Visitors come to Baja for the outstanding fishing, and Baja Pirates delivers. The fishing is excellent year round, and the variety is just as impressive as the quality. In the spring, inshore fishing takes center stage as excellent action for yellowtail, cabrilla, roosterfish and snapper can be found along the rugged coastline.

During summertime, marlin and sailfish take center stage as anglers focus on the deeper currents just offshore. Tuna are reliable year round, and many other pelagic species such as wahoo and dorado can fill up the fishbox and make for excellent dinner fare. Baja Pirates also specializes in fly fishing for many of these popular species.

Baja Pirates provides complete packages for traveling anglers that include a choice of accommodations, ground transportation, activities including golf and diving, and freshly cooked breakfast each morning. Dream vacations can be customized to suit any customer, for stays of three days to one month.
