West Cove -5/25
Fished solo this morning in West Cove. Used white w/chartreuse Vudu Shrimp under a Bomber popping cork to land 5 trout. However 2 of the trout were 25.5" pigs--my personal best. Wind was howling and waves are not good for my 16" Carolina Skiff when I am casting from up front so I left by 9:30am. I caught hardheads and gafftop with the same setup. I caught the same variety of fish along with flounder on consecutive days and the Vudu Shrimp held up. I am impressed.
