BigGrin Wishing U Were Here..

Well I decided to go back and try for some jumbo crab today before the front come thru.. I've got about 6 doz nice males and females..

With about 2 doz being really dirty jumbos.. Here's a few I'm going to be boiling up tonight with corn, tators, onions, and smoked deer sausage.. I won't be able to eat all these.. Maybe 4.. Of course some awesome Cajun dip made by your's truly; with a few cold coors lights.. There are a few peps I'm sure they wishing they were eating these bad boys tonight.. Yummy...

Guys don't ask where???? When I ask about trout on BL I don't get a answer.. Water temp is 65 degrees...

U got to GO to KNOW........

It's good to hear the crabs are back on. Lots of folks in Cameron coming up empty last weekend, but we saw some buds at the cleaning station at Calcasieu Pt. cleaning a mess of crabs.

I prefer to buy crabs rather than working a chicken neck and a string, but last Fri and Sat, even the pros were coming up empty. Holly Beach seafood expected they might have some around noon on Saturday, but we were eager to hit the beach.

For me, crabs aren't food, crabs are what food eats.
