You can plant seeds and they'll come up in a few days rite now. Just keep them watered good with all this heat its kinda late but if you got good ground they may produce.
Cucumber season is almost over and I doubt you could get seeds or plants to produce before they burn up. You would be better off planting at the end of august for a fall crop.
