The last few days here in Hackberry the mornings have been cool and windless so the morning bite has been terrific. The early morning bite before the wind and the sun comes up continues to reward our anglers with limits of trout and redfish on the south end of the lake and the big jetties. The slick conditions allow us to get in some good top water action on solid fish.
