I would like to get some information about becoming a sponsor for the tourny. I am in the construction equipment rental business and can donate some light towers or some possible cash/prizes. We are under new ownership so in a few months we will have everthing in order and have a new name. Please email me any information to chadgrosch@gmail.com

i think i will bring my boat next year and fish with meaux fishin. the kicker is i am going to break my trolling motor so we have to just fish with the big motor the whole time. so if you see us flying by at a blistering 24 mph just note it is us!

All I can say is if the SC event for next year is anything like our last weekend on Big Lake then watch out!!! Everyone will need to take the following week off to recouperate!

Get ready - trying to line up the sponsors...

We will have online registration for this event set up within a month or two, and you'll be able to register in advance using a credit card or by check (snail mail). Those who register in advance will get a free t-shirt. More details to come soon.

I would also like to know what sponsoring the tourney consist of. I work for a scaffolding company but we could throw in some gift cards, baits, or rods or something. Maybe even build a stage for a band or weigh in or something. Let me know please. jstnlemoine@yahoo.com

Yep, but it's not the ONLY day of turkey season. Choose which you'd rather do and do it.

Is this event any way associated with the Pediatric Brain tumor Foundation? Just curious.

No, this benefits Children's Brain Tumor Research Foundation (www.cbtrf.org), which is not related to PBTF (though PBTF is a another great charity).

Opening day of turkey season IS the best day of the season by far. Can't miss it! Lots of lottery hunts. I'm not griping about the date yall picked. U cant make everyone happy. I just prob won't be there.
