Default Lowrance HDS 5 help

Hey guys this is my first post but i got a question. Has anybody ever tried to transfer coordinates from a SD card to one of the new HDS models. I had a LMS 520 and just got a new haynie and i got a new HDS on it. From what i understand they are pretty hard to figure out. Any help would be appreciated.
