Default GPS Nonsense

What in the world is all these exclamation points and chicken scratch on my gps?

I turned off the fine detail of the lake so you can see all that stuff... There's nothing in the (above) water that I can see but all this jibberish got me wondering... Any help would be very cool.

Looks like something to do w/ the locations you have stared.
Notice they all point to a star. different colors have to mean something different???

Navigational aids....channel markers on left in red.green....the others are probably platforms and other Nav. aids in that area ...run cursor or pointer over them it should tell you what they are.......go here and compare your GPS to the Calcasieu Lake Chart....that should help you understand

Most of them are the small platforms on the north end of Big Lake
