Most of the refuges on the eastside are state wma's and can only be closed by Bobby Jindal. Having said that, if there is no place to stay I doubt anyone will be hunting them. The logistics to hunt most is a pain without all of the Oil Spill Drama, just not worth it. The only thing I see putting oil across Hwy 82 will be a Tropical Suppression.

It's tough getting a camp, cabin or hotel anywhere South of Belle Chase right now.
News media, BP and the clean up crews got everything booked up.
