Default Mounts

Some mounts from Elite Outdoors in Breaux Bridge. The wood duck pose was taken from the image on our distribution bins, pretty cool I thought.

I love the widgeon.
I been wanting to do a woody mount but I always end up mounting something else. I want a drake woody on top a log (like a tree) with a hole in the middle, and a hen woody's head sticking out the hole.

Yep. A widgeon is on top of my list of ducks to mount. I don't have much room left though. I already have 6 duck mounts. I hardly ever kill widgeons, and if I do, they are always too messed up. I killed a nice one last year but it was too young and didn't have the fully developed green band on his head. I still have a black bellied whistling duck in my freezer. I already have the fulvous whistling duck mounted.
