Default Ducks??

Anyone in the Iowa, Welsh area have any ducks? We don't have much water , but not seeing much......

Buddy of mine has a lease in Roanoke.....(flooded field, rice 2 years ago) and said there are good numbers holding in that area.......took some kids for youth weekend....not sure what they killed but said there was plenty enough to have limits.

Two weeks ago there were thousands of pintail and speckabellies between Pine Island Hwy and Radio Tower Rd. If you are somewhere in that area, you should see some birds Sat/Sun. Either way, I would not sweat empty fields right now. Those birds will not stay put after this weekend.

Little Chenier and Creole get swamped with ducks when the last couple of fronts came thru.
Looks like a good year coming up. If the weather stays cold.
