Default First week of duck season

Well just got back to work today after being off the first 10 days of duck season, and hunted every single day. We started the first week with a bang in grand chenier and my goose blind in lyons point. The birds were a little bit harder to kill this weekend with the weather, but we still managed to kill our limits. Had to hunt a little late. The first week total is.

Grand chenier---2 blinds 10 days 402 birds

lyons point----- 1 blind 5 days that my brother-n-laws hunted was a total of 31 geese and 17 ducks

I hope so to our water level and feed is just right. Our blind borders rockefeller refuge and the birds are just pounding our marsh.

We have my blind which is 4 single man sunken blinds on 1 pond, and my father--n--law has 3 single man sunken blinds so every day there was a total of 7 hunters. We are just covered up with grey ducks and teal. Every year pretty much everyone on our lease takes vacation on the opening week. Everybody in our marsh did great. I just hope it stays like this.

I'm starting tomorrow on a 12 day binge, hopefully it is as productive as yours. Congrats on the kill.
