Default Beautiful Duck Weather

Went to Pecan Island this morning expecting to get a good push of new birds. Arrived in PI @ 530 pouring down rain and 30mph wind gusts got in the blind and from shooting time til i left huge flocks of ducks worked our ponds. Shot a three man limit of mostly teal mixed with a couple big ducks.Lots of new birds very excited about tomorrows hunt.

Did not go this morning (SAT) because usually the day after the front has sucked for us in the past few years in the rice fields.....well not sure if it had to do with our new lease which is only 3/4 miles from our old lease. However, the other guy my uncle and I shares the lease with went with a buddy.....2 guys......5 teal and 7 greys.....Dang I knew I should of went....

So far we are at 132 birds not counting teal season......

Glad to hear ya'll killing some ducks...keep it up.
This may not sound like much but we up to 24 birds for big duck season, but they are all from public hunting with tons of pressure. We are doing so much better than our horrible lease in Kaplan last year.
