Default Big Lake January 2, 2011

Me and my girlfriend hit the lake at like 12:30 or 1:00ish went out and speeeeed drifted across Turners lol the wind was getting it and the water was low low, water was pretty dirty looking but picked up one trout and decided to run to the salt ditch to get out the wind and picked up 2 reds one was a little shy 16" anyways all were caught on pearl jerk jr.'s and pearl gulp shrimp! Always great to be on the water but the fishing wasn't quite up to par.
The red fish had an awesome color to them in the salt ditch!!

Good to hear you found some down the salt ditch. Was the water pouring out the marsh right before the black lake entrance? I went to Prien today and didn't catch much either but anytime on the water is better than none.

Yeh the water was rolling out of there but they had three boats anchored right there fishing dead skrimps I idled real slow past them trying not to mess them up to bad but all I saw them pick up were drums as we were passing looked like it would have been a good little spot though
