Default Big Lake January 4, 2011!!

Me and a good friend shot out to Cal Point this morning pretty early and hit Turners picked up 12 specks pretty quick and a few throw backs for the next hour or so nothing steady after 8:00 decided to run and try a little spot out and the Reds were stacked up!! Caught our limit quick and just enjoyed the afternoon catching and releasing! Picked up one flounder also, but it was a great day to end on back to work I go in the morning for a few days then in for surgery so not sure how much fishing I'll be able to do after that. Everything was caught on Berkley swim shads and pearl GULP pogeys

Nice Catch man.

Do you know if the birds are still working. I'd like to see at least one flock before the bite is over.

Lot of birds but they weren't really working, I have been just drifting through the reef back and forth
