Default No Reports from Big Lake?

Funny cuz there were about 200 trucks at Calcasieu Pt today when we got there at 2 PM. Left at 5:30 there were 3. Very slow for us, 2 trout - gotta report the good with the bad. Trolling motor crapped out for some reason which we found out when we were gonna try and salvage the trip with some reds. Was thinking it was gonna be a pretty day out, but the sun only popped out a few times

Default rough day

We were there too. Looked for the specks but just couldn't find them. Did manage to get a few reds in the boat. Just felt good to be out on the water.

Me and evans was out there but did not stick a fish. We waded turners all am and not one bite. It was my first time to wade and it was a wild experience.

Went from 1pm-4pm with my wife and a friend. No trout. 8 reds, didn't keep any and most were throwbacks. Had ALOT of boats along the salt ditch! I counted 13 at one point. Sun tried coming out toward the end of our day. Ran into inchspinner at the launch and it sounded like he had a good day.

I got my hat wet last spring. Wasn't "cold" then, either......until afterwards. Filled up my waders.
