what gets me is that he has a receiver hitch on his truck w/o the ball...... their like $40 at wally world... people these days !!

I've seen it before...but it was a one ton flat bed. One on top, one in tow...made more sense than that bit of "red-necking."

Broke a spring about 20 years ago about 1 mile from the cameron jetty boat launch. We pulled the boat off the trailer, flipped the trailer in the ditch, loaded the boat in the back of the truck and relaunched it at the jetties. I drove the boat back to Prien Lake while by partner drove the truck to his house and picked up a flat bed trailer and met me at the Prien. Loaded the boat, dropped it off at my house and headed to Cameron to load my trailer on the flat bed. Made for a long day. I would have done like the dude in the picture, but have no idea how he loaded it.
