Default Smithport/Clear Lake

Ive been working in the Mansfield area for some time now. I decided to bring my boat with me for this job because Clear Lake is only a few miles from the rig. Just wondering if any of you have fished this area before. Ill be hitting it up in the morning. Passed by this afternoon and checked out the water, its crystal clear/to tanic acid color and loaded with cypress trees. I was wondering if black/chartreuse tube jigs or blue/white works better in this clear of a water??? And ill proly start with watermelon red or pumpkin seed soft plastics unless you may have any other suggestions, thanks.
