Default Heading to the river sunday morning!

We are gonna launch at parkside. More than likely head north from there! Havent really fished the river in years. Anyone got a lil info on any lil spots to hit north of Sam Houston? and a lil advise on what to throw? Thanks any info will be helpful!

I was thinking about throwing a square billed crank bait, slow rolling a spinnerbait and also settin one rod up for texas rig baby brush hogs

the usual watermelon red, or watermelon seed. i picked up a 1/8 white chatter at walmart but have not got to try it, should do good with noise and flash

i was goin to kayak laccafish today but when i woke up and seen that wind i decided to just head to Longville Lake! Fishing was really slow caught about 9 small ones

wind has been a killer everywhere, got caught on t/b witth over 6ft swells last week and white caps in laccafish on my last trip
