downside to this light is a lot of light is blocked by the motor if you run a single. check out coastalnightlights.com they have some pretty good lights.

This is what I thought about doing ! make a small mounting bracket and install to a jack plate or motor bracket . Ether Hard wire it in or wire it so i can take it off when not using it !
Wanna get 2 make another bracket and put one on both sides the motor ! May not break that way ! IMO |

I looked into several different lights. The Moby Marine product was perfect for me. Self install with no drilled holes. Just enough light.

I like it. Haven't really got to test it yet. Love it for running at night though.
