Here's what I use..... My Skeeter bay had a 40 gal bait well, didn't work near as good as this plus it's insulated & has handles to strap down with bungee cords, freeze water bottles & put 10 or so in icechest & keep a couple in baitwell, swap out every couple hours. Never a problem, cool water, good aerator & round baitwell is the keys to keep em alive
Aerator goes in through the top, drill the right size hole & it comes with a rubber grommet to seal off
& get the pull lid type....not the screw on!

Fish piss in the water and make it saturate with amonia.
There are several brands of stuff that neutralize the amonia.
Rejuvenade is one. They are one of the sponsors on the HT Redfish tourny.

Sorry no pics of the build, I'll take some when I build another one.
Just took a jig saw and went around the bottom ring of the sides with the handle, left 2 tabs to keep the handle and trimmed the top ring on the handle part and it fits in my back hatch perfectly

Slimer Plastics

Fish with plastics. I've had some in my boat since last year and they still caught plenty of trout last Sunday in Lake Charles.

that may be true but we had a "bait well" (5 gal bucket with the aerator) and they were dead in 10 minutes and the lake was slick so they didn't get beat to death. at least it worked.

Also, I take the little frozen water bottles out when I'm running because I've found it to beat em' to death like a wrecking ball if I'm running in rough water. How do you like your Mr. Bubbles? I went thru 2 or 3 of them before I got a Frabill and have been much happier with it. Good set up Shaw, I like it
Its been good so far, just keep replacing the batteries. Yeh I forgot to mention that take the water bottle out while running, they be all squashed

I siliconed the stirefoam bait well inside the bucket so if water sloshes or spills over your inner liner dosent float up, I don't have pics but I'll build another one and take pics of the build when I get in from offshore
