Default Tiger Shoals

hey fellas, thinking of making a trip out to tiger shoals. i know its not inshore fishing but we are going out of the point and i was wondering if anyone has heard anything good coming from there. i have an offshore boat so im willing to go a little further for some specks. i talked to a buddy of mine who went ou of burns point and they got 100 at ekb 74.

I heard they are catching trout in the SMI blocks,not sure about tiger shoals. Like usual it all depends on the wind and water clarity.

thanks man, i migh have to go check out the SMI blocks. how far would you say the green-brown water is?

I have a good buddy who has been guiding trips to EI area and limiting out with 100-125 trout before 9am every time weather let's him get out

I have heard the same as "W" EI 74, Havent heard a thing about the PELICAN or the LEANER.

I was at VR 51 Sat and the water was ok and there were no trout, but we didn't fish too long either.

Talked to TCOON out of Lafayette last week and he said if the wind is slack they had been catching a tiger s.....but if not i have some other guys who have been doing great on live bait at EI and SMI blocks....they have that big tourney out of the point this weekend!!!

we went two weekends ago, and there were about 8-9 boats there and we didn't see too much action. Every now and again someone would pick one up and we there at first light pretty much. We left the rig around 8ish and went snapper fishing.

we moved our trip to friday to give the water some time to settle and let things calm down. we might be headed to eibk 74. we'll be out there in my 24ft hydra-sports and a buddy of mines 28ft grady-white. give us a shout out if yall see us.
