Default Russell Sage Foundation-Marsh Island State Wildlife Refuge

Does anyone fish this area? I haven't seen any reports. I normally fish the Dularge area, but I'm curious about the Russell Sage Foundation-Marsh Island State Wildlife Refuge because it looks like it would a trout highway

Not really a trout highway, although I have caught some there, they really prefer the reefs on the southside of the island. However, it is a redfish/flounder mecca!

Thanks for the feedback.. I would have thought with the Dularge/Cocodrie barrier Islands producing so many trout that, Marsh Island would do the same.

Sometimes in the fall the trout move in "The Island" chasing bait but never in limit quantities.
