Default Big Lake 8-2-09

Well went out on the lake yesterday morning. I really didnt want to go when i woke up sunday morning and looked at the weather. but my buddy wanted to go and never gets a chance to go, so we went. Water looked like chocolate milk and wind was howling. Still manage to pick up a little mess. Got tired of fighting wind and headed in around 11am. 14 specks and 2 flounder

yeh i been going out to the rigs but the wind was too bad yesterday. only had 1 flounder majority of the day. picked the rest of the fish up in about 1 hour when the wind laid down a little bit for about 30 minutes.

I was at Rutherfords Beach with my wife and her friends doing some crabbing.
I brought some rods to go surf fishing, but the water was chocolate brown and the winds were about 15 out of the SW on the beach.
Not calm down there...
One of the girls caught 6 finger mullet, at one time, sucking on a chicken neck bone, in a dip net. Never saw that before.
