Default Up North 8/4

Dad-n-law and I hooked up this afternoon for an afternoon trip. Planned on going south in BL, but the wind was kicking out of the south with white caps in the ship channel, so we changed plans. Targeted some reds up north and had a nice trip. Caught our 10 in a couple of hours from 18-24 inches. Some on plastic; some on live. Not too hard to figure out our location if you look at the pics. It was much better than work.

It was actually only nice in this spot. The wind was kicking out of the south when we went. But, yes, it was a nice day on the water with the old man

We were fishing in about 5ft. They were on the bottom and suspended. Saw quite a few rolling on top. It was nice.

Sweet! Same thing happened the other day. First red I caught was busting a mullet on top. Threw the crankbait at him and BBQ.
