Trout Slingin' 8.4.11

Hit a few reefs early and had about 15 quality trout by 9:00 a.m. Bite slowed and the wind layed down around 11:00, so we rode around the lake for a bit. Found some specks terrorizing shrimp on the surface and finished off our limit right there slingin' the schoolies. 60 specks and 1 red. All fish caught on sparkle beetles, top dogs, and she dogs. The water was beautiful and the sun was hot, but so was the fishing! This is my first time trying to upload photos here so i apologize if they don't show up properly.

Yea that picture was when the slinging just started. Believe me they didn't stay down there long. They were coming into the boat three and four at a time. We put ice over them after the box shot. That's too much food to let spoil

No i run a Bay Champ. Fished out of a friend's Yellowfin yesterday. It's one pretty sweet ride. I've fished out of it quite a few times now and I want one bad....the only trouble is if I buy one, I will have to live out of it
