Todays weather is what we dream about for opening day of Bow season.
Longe range forcast shows it to cool back off some on 9-19-11. It took about an hour for this Doe to finally come into bow range after I spotted her. My first Feb. kill in 2008 [year is wrong in pic.] after the Area 6 season was expanded. I killed 2 deer in Oct. of last year...... hope I can start off this year as well hunting public land. |

yep ! put out corn and cameras this weekend. too bad Lee didnt drop a lick of rain in Arkansas for me, its dryer than the desert up there

Bring it on!!!! According to the Fort Polk website, they aren't opening the archery season until the 18th! Gonna hafta call about that one!
