Default starter click

Went fishing last night and launched the boat and could not get it to crank, all i got was a click about 25 times....Then it fired and not clicked.....Moved spots and the same thing CLICK...took the cowl off and jumped it with a screw driver, fired right up...I think its the started solenoid and if so where is a local place around LAKE CHARLES that would have them...Everything is clean and tightly fastened...but I get a CLICK...anyone ever had this and what was your results...Would WEST MARINE have these solenoids...tia...chris.

Before you start taking the solenoid off...... draw you a good picture of where each wire connects.

Oh..... and disconnect the battery.

Check at Gene's Marine off Hwy 14 on the south side of town or go to Jerry's in Sulphur.
