Slow day on the bay Sat....pretty water, very salty but the trout would not cooperate. Hit the Cove first thing at daybreak. we managed a couple of specks a few whites and a flounder. At 9am we headed to check the hammock, we staed for about 30 min and only caught one speck. from there we ran to the TP......CRAZY packed but no one was catching fish stayed for about and hour with only one trout so we wnet back to the cove....picked up a couple more and decided to run back to the TP to finish out the day. around 2pm the bite picked up....we caught most of our fish b/t 2-3pm.....fish caught on glow char cocahoe and silver sparkle sand eel Jr....also caught the two bigger fish onj a corky devil.....all in all not bad but it def could have been better....now that i am in the office I would take a scratch day to be on the water

how did eveyone else do????????

Friday's box had 3 reds, 3 flounder, 20 specks, 4 white trout, 3 blue cats. All caught around the TP. Went back solo yesterday afternoon and picked up 4 specks, biggest 20", couple white trout, 19" black drum, couple cats. Bite wasn't good for me. But I love being out on the water. The reefs on the outside might give up some bigger trout and possibly fewer boats to contend with. At the TP the boats are so close to each other you can almost walk across em.
