Default For anyone who wants to test ride an egret 18'.9" & 20'.11"

The owner of EGRET BOATS is coming down here to demo off the new 20'11". He will be traveling south LA and SE TX for anyone that is interested. I will bring my 18'9 for anyone that wants to try that out as well. Frank(owner) is a one of a kind guy/businessman, i highly suggest you take advantage of this. Once you ride in an EGRET you'll be hooked!

He should be down here in the next month or so, ill keep yall posted for anyone whos interested

Just looked on the site....it is a 20' 11" hull so 350 max is the average for a performance hull.

The 20'11 demo boat is complete. Frank is waiting for the gps, trolling motor, and a custom removable lean post for the driver to come in then he'll be bringing her down here for any one that's interested! Its looking like next weekend or the weekend after. He will be making a few dif. stops in LA & TX. Motor is still in break in period but she got up to 73 so far and that's with an old run down prop...

A few build pics of 20'11

*carbon fiber reinforced hull

*WHISPER GREY 2TONE DECK W/ GREY CONSOLE AND GREY FINISHED HATCHES

*custom fabricated rocket launcher instead of poling platform.

*best riding 21' hull in the biz...

* 11" DRAFT

*Storage like no other. anchor storage (front hatch), livewell, castnet storage/fishbox(middle hatch w/ divider), giant dry storage hatch(bottom hatch). did i mention this is just the storage on the front deck?!?

*merc 250 proxs!

SirSpecsalot, Thanks for the update. Lots of tournaments going on with CCA Venice on 10/29 and IFA championship in Chalmette the next weekend. Let us know what specific dates he will be in La and TX.

Hey, in one of the pics (the one with several boats) - what is the 3rd hull back in the background? Different console, a new model?

Also maybe its just me, but the rear rocket launcher on the 2011 demo does not add anything to the boat - really goofy looking.

Ballpark price for hull and standard equipment w/out outboard is upper 30's.

Yea Frank just released a new model - it's not an EGRET though - it's 19' and priced to sell. Boat, motor, trailer package starts right at $27,000 or $28,000. Same ride and attention to detail, just more economical.

As far as the rocket launcher goes, this boat was made with near offshore fishing in mind. One of the beauty things about these boats is you can make em like you want for the type of fishing you do. It's removable and can be taken off w/e. Don't like it don't get it!
