Default Big Lake 12/12/2011

Hit Big Lake a lil late this morning, but late is better than never.
Caught on 1/8 oz. Yellow Mouth jig head and a Glow Salty Grub.
They didn't want my TKO shrimp today.
All were nice sized. 4 of them went over 2 lbs.
Ended up with 10 Trout and 1 Redfish. Fish stopped biting around
10:30 am. Made one more drift after that time and went home.
Don't know what's up, but water was off at the cleaning tables.
It was running when I started, but was off by the time I needed it.

1 Pelican stole a beak full of Trout fillets.
Water was out. I turned around to check the water on the other cleaning table.
BAM, Pelican up on the table and dining on fresh fish fillets.

Nice table of fish wish I could have been fishing instead of driving to BR. The last time we were cleaning fish there the pelicans tried that they not scared that's for sure.

That was about the time the fish bite slowed down. I caught a few closer to the bank, then moved out about the time ya'll got there. I caught my biggest Trout while you were there.

Brave birds! I know it would be a big fine and maybe some jail time but I bet there is a recipe floating around out there for pelican! LOL!
