Looking.for a new reel.

Im looking into getting a new setup of a rod and reel..im open to all ideas on what you think is a great reel that will last a good while..fishing in big lake and.prien if thats needed

curado/shimano rod. cant beat the quality of the reel and the lifetime warranty of the rod. My basic setup is a curado 50E with a cumara but you may wanna stick with something lower on price rodwise.

Saltwater friendly??? I have a 5:1 but it's strictly a freshwater setup.

Lew reels can you point.me towards a good one I heard about those. Money just.for a reel id like to spend 100 to 200 no more than that

I just got an Outcast Reel from the Stick'Em Rods people. Great reel, very smooth and retails for 150.00.

I have a tourney pro speed spool that is a good reel and has stood up to abuse for a year now. There are several great reels in your price range - Shimano Citica, Curado, and Chronarch. Lew's tourney pro, etc.

For the money, the Citica is a darn good reel.

i know it's on the upper end of what you want to spend, but to me the shimano Chronarch CH200e7 is probably the best bang for the buck in that range. it's pretty much screw for screw the exact same as the Curado CU200e7 that everyone loved and raved about. they're awesome reels.

if you want to stay more around the $100-150 mark, i would consider the lew's speed spool or tourney speed spool. my customer reviews have been very good and i haven't had any complaints about them yet.

I got mine in today and it is smoooooth. I spooled up and cast it at my dads pond. That thing will sling it! So far so good.
