70-80 out to The Green Canyon and if you can find some shrimp boats trawling, you gotta good chance to hook a few chumming behind them.

Night trips to the floaters can been good, around a full moon. I like doing that with 2 boats for safety though.
And watch out for those 'YFs' caught on the beach... Had a guy pull up to the cleaning tables last summer, all excited with his front deck covered with 'yellowfin tuna'. Yep, all Jack Crevalle ... he ignored all comments and was determined to clean them. C'mon, Mais, look at 'dem yellow fins... |

Guys thanks for the information Venice or Grand Isle was thinking their would be less fishing pressure out of Grand Isle
