Default Need some info.

I am in the Lafayette area, and A friend from out of state is bringing a 24 foot center console and wants to go fishing. Any suggestions on where to bring him? I am familiar with cypermore point and Sabine lake but haven't been fishing for a couple of months. Also I am usually fishing in a 16 ft aluminum boat. Any info will be appreciated.

you could troll the causeway in Lake P... I have heard of some really nice trout and good numbers from there recently. Also the trestles have been turning on in the past few weeks. Dularge has been pretty good lately on the reefs in Mechant and Sister lake as well as the islands in the middle and southern part of sister lake. the barrier islands are not quite right yet
