thanks guys, i see what you mean bluechip, it has been discussed and i read all of them and i am probably going to get a saltwater minkota if i can afford it, guess i will check mikes in henderson

well i found me a good deal on a used motorguide 71lb, should work pretty good on my aluminum 16footer

Have the Riptide SM 80 lb on 18 ft aluminum and moves the boat really well almost get on step throws a wake behind the boat
