Default Dularge launch question

Looking on google maps there is a launch that puts you right into the marsh before you get to jugs. Is this a private launch or can the public launch? Only fished the area one time looking to fish the shallows for reds.

Jugs is the Only launch at the end of the road. There's a private one past him though over the levee.

That launch is private, but you can get back into that marsh if you launch at jugs, go down the bayou, turn left at the high power lines and get back into the pipeline. Its a little complicated if youve never done it. And do it on low tide, ask Corey!

Its not that bad, also you can fish the ponds on the southwest side of Lake mechant. They usually hold redfish this time of the year

That launch is called "The Red Gate". I was told by a local that it's about $150/yr for a key to the gate.

This is true, also if you have a camper in the lot across from jugs, you can launch there free
