Default B/L advice

Going Big Lake in the morning and looking for a little advice on what to throw, I have read that the top water bite has been good, I am a converted bass guy and want to try some of the baits I already have....Spooks, rouges, and many other topp water baits...I have also noticed that sand eels seem to be a good plastic bait, will flukes work just as good? and if anyone can give me a general idea of where to go it would be a great help, if I can find HEBERTS (only been to calcasieu point) that is where I am putting in...

Not trying to be a smart azz, but just look for the boats in the morning.

Superspooks work. Not sure about flukes.

I am biased towards 1/8 or 1/4 oz Yellow Mouth Jig heads and Jerk Jrs. in opening night and bubble yum right now.

If you are wanting to go to HEBERTS....... Big Lake road going over the Intercoastal water way is closed. You must go down to Grand Lake and cross the ICWW down there.

I believe the bridge is suppose to be open in another week or 2.

I don't see why flukes wouldn't work!
