Dinner for my family of six is usually a quart of fillets, but my children do not hit the fish very hard and eat a lot of the side dishes. I would say that two quart bags would likely be plenty for most groups of six adults, and a gallon bag of fillets that is really full would most likely feed a dozen adults. A full gallon bag is over 8 lbs of fillets, and a full quart bag is a bit over 2 lbs of fillets. My wife usually figures 2-3 lbs of meat for the meat portion of any dinner menu for our family of six.

That's like saying a ton of bricks weighs more than a ton of feathers.

If this is the Bart Bridges I know? How do you not know this? All you do is hunt and fish. And you have the ultimate knowledge resource at your disposal, JR.
