Dangerous Obstruction—Elmer’s Island Surf
I hit what looked like a large piece of concrete/rock in the surf on Elmer’s Island. This was not either of the sets of pilings in the surf, but between them. The tip was barely visible on an incoming tide. Approximately 4.5 miles from Caminada Pass and maybe 100 – 150 feet off the beach. I was lucky others may not be so. Coordinates are N 29 20.356 W 90 06.243 |
