Just about all the older atvs were full time 4wd. Nothing to worry about just a little harder to steer with front wheels pulling. I have 2 350 ranchers that are that way. I put a Warn front drive shaft disconnect on one of them, it can be taken in & out of 4wd now. Makes it alot easier on the arms when I'm covering seed on my food plots.

All the old Honda 300 fourtrax were full time 4x4 and those are the best bikes ever built.

The main thing to worry about is make sure your tire size for the front and rear are correct for the gear ratio difference, I have a honda 300 4wd, it is just not a run wide open atv, if you need to go fast get another type atv.
