Default Tidal Surge Road Trip

Enjoyed coming over and fishing Big Lake today. Have not been in a while so it took a couple of hours to get going. Caught some on shell. Caught some on slicks out in middle. Found a scool of reds busting bait on south end and let my Dad and future son-in-law catch till they got tired. Then to finish it off drove by them so much couldnt resist anymore so I worked a few groups of birds on the way in. Was a good day enjoyed getting out of Galveston and Trinity Bay for a good day on the east side.
Ended the day with 43 keepers on the clicker released them all for someone else to have fun with. And of course all of them were caught on Tidal Surge Lures.

Cheers

Couple of reasons I like mine on the back. I agree its not for everyone. On the front it definatly moves boat better.

In rough water its not coming out of water.

When I am Guiding I can keep the front of boat in fish and customers fish in front of me. No excuses.LOL

When offshore chasing tarpon you cant hardly keep it in the water if its on the front.

Thats kinda my work area. All my stuff in back. I can see GPS and depth on my machine.

Like I say its not for everyone but it's just what I like.
