Default Grand Isle Marina & Live Bait

This is my fist trip to Grand Isle and I'm staying on the east end of the Island. Can anyone recommend a good marina where I can launch my boat and where I could get live bait?

Thx

It is usually less crowded than bridgeside. There is also gulf stream but be careful if you launch there the ramp is really steep so you have to come up the middle of the ramp

Also bring a cast net. Rafts of mullet has been stacked along the rocks on the bay side of the island. But Sand Dollar and Bridgeside have live shrimp, mud minnow and croakers. Coastal Bait is good too and is located on LA 1 right before you cross the Elmer's Island short bridge on the left headed to GI.
Call them on the way down: 985-309-0406
Good luck.
