Default Had to share this with the SC peeps....

In Portland Oregon on a advisory meeting with lacrosse / danner footwear. Will spend the day in meetings tomorrow but going on a guided trip Thursday for steelhead and sturgeon on the Columbia river gorge. Will post pics then. Here is a pic of my feet enjoying a 50 degree July summer evening.

Will you ask them why Danner boots always leak six months after they are purchased?? Very comfortable boots but after my last pair I have decided to pursue other brands.

Default There's other stuff to do in Portland

The steelies are a blast to catch. Try them on 6 lb test. Nightlife can be a blast too. There's some awesome strip clubs in the area you should check out. There's the shang-hi tunnels to look at also. Have a safe trip man. I could use a day without sweating and 50 degree nights.

Raymond I will do that for you. I have several pair of them (some 3-4 yrs old) and have never had an issue with leaking. As a retailer I sell tons of them with A very minimal return rate. But as with all brands, it does happen. Danner has always made it good for the customer. You may have been one of those unlikely customers who have just happened to get a bad pair.

I've been to Autzen Stadium in Eugene. Very beautiful country up there and the people are very personable and hospitable.

Gtx fit like a glove and I wore them until they died but I am hard on footware. Currently have a pair of Georgia waterproof boots I train in that I bought in December that leak like a sieve. Probably should call them but I just never get around to it.
